Liberty Bank presents $5 admission at Park Jefferson Speedway
Liberty National Bank proudly presents the annual FABULOUS FIVE DOLLAR NIGHT at Park Jefferson Speedway. With only three IMCA Point Nights remaining, this Saturday is one of the final chances to catch the IMCA racers battle at Park Jefferson in 2018.
The point battle in every division are extremely tight. In the Artworks Graphics Modifieds, Jay Noteboom is deadlocked at the top of the point chart with Todd Boulware. Meanwhile, Chris Abelson has hit his groove this summer and clawed his way back and now sits only 8 points behind the top two drivers. The IMCA Sprint Cars saw Elliot Amdahl jump to the lead with Dusty Ballenger with mechanical issues, however 2016 champion Colin Smith has risen to 2nd. Amdahl has lost an engine, which may see his season in peril. The J&J Fitting stock cars are also dead even at the top with Jason Ward and Bo Lundquist tied, but 3 others, Todd Gereau, Ryan Harris and Greg Taylor within five points. All the other divisions also see tight battles which will last until August 11th.
Gates open Saturday at 5pm with hot laps set for 6:30. Adult tickets are $5, Seniors 70+ are $3 and children 6-16 are just $1. All children under 6 are free. For more information call 712-202-5540 and follow along at www.parkjeff.com.
