Midwest Power Series Sprint Cars invades Park Jefferson Saturday, August 22nd

The Park Jefferson Speedway will close out the 2020 racing season with a first time ever, as the Midwest Power Series will make its inaugural visit to the Park Jefferson Speedway. The longtime staple of the upper Midwest is the creation of Greg Parent and GRP Motorsports. Park Jefferson is pleased to partner with GRP Motorsports to bring the MSTS vs the Nebraska 360 Sprint Cars to Park Jefferson for a special $2,000 to win event. Drivers from across the Midwest look to be on hand as the sprint car teams will battle for the second night of a two race swing featuring Rock Rapids on Friday and Park Jefferson on Saturday night. Some of the stars such as Cody Ledger, Lee Grosz Jr and Justin Henderson are expected on hand to battle for the possible $6,000 over the weekend. As a special bonus, GRP Motorsports has put up an additional $2,000 bonus to any team that can sweep the weekends races. Joining them is the Stevenson Hardware IMCA RACESaver Sprints, the J&J Fitting IMCA Stock Cars and IMCA Hobby Stocks in a draw/redraw format running for state, regional and national IMCA points.

There will not be a pay per view option for this event so we hope fans will come out to the track to catch all the action of the 700 horsepower sprint cars.

Gates open at 4pm for race teams and 5pm for spectators. Hot laps are slated to start at 6:15 and racing at 7:00. Adult tickets are $17, Seniors 65+ are $15, children 6-16 are $5 and under 6 are free. For more information on the Midwest Power Series go to http://midwestpowerseries.myracepass.com.
