PARK JEFFERSON VIRTUAL PIT MEETING
We use the MYRACEPASS App and lineups will be posted there as soon as set. We will also post lineups at the office but the app is the fastest way to see your lineup
Staging area is off turn one, enter track on turns two and exit off turn one at the end of the wall
Yellow Flags: Single car spin in the heats and you must exit, multiple cars involved all fall to the tail.
Feature, all cars allowed two spins. All cars involved in caution that are stopped will fall to the rear if stopped when yellow comes out.
Red Flags-STOP as soon as safe. We have 4 wheelers and safety vehicles trying to get to the vehicle as quickly as possible. We don’t want to injure a safety worker who may be trying to save a drivers life.
The work area will be off of turn one for the heat races in the marked off area between the fence and the haulers. The work area will be either turn 1 or the infield for sprint cars and late models.
IMCA Classes-Single file restarts in the heats, double file in the feature with the leader out front, 2nd place will choose inside or outside and the rest of the field falls into place. Sprints will be single file for both.
The only judgement call will be black flags, there will be no discussion on this call so don’t put yourself in that situation. Don’t make yourself the example. The cars are way too expensive. Please respect one another and the cream will rise to the top. Park Jefferson is very wide without walls so take advantage. Any black flag will be automatic placement of last possible points and pay.
All classes lined up by standard draw redraw format for IMCA classes.
Haulers can stay overnight
Transponders and Raceceivers(default channel) are mandatory. The announcers feed is broadcast on 90.1 FM. You are responsible to be to staging.
Social distancing is in place and we do request face coverings.
Park Jefferson runs Westhold transponders which can be picked up in pit office. All transponders should be returned except for modifieds who keep transponders until Saturday night.
No teams are to confront officials in the press box. If this happens you will receive an automatic suspension, no points, no pay and you will have points and pay docked along with a season suspension.
Drivers who need tires disposed of are to leave them behind the pit shack at entry along with $10 for each tire. Money should be left in the track office. You will be fined $50 if caught leaving tires in your pits. Either take them with you or we will dispose of them with a tire recycler.
