9th Annual J&J Fitting Iron Cup on April 28,29,30 at Park Jefferson Speedway
The biggest weekend at Park Jefferson will come on April 28-30th with the historic Iron Cup at Park Jefferson presented by J&J Fitting. Paying a purse of over $25,000, this weekend’s events will truly be a test of some of the best racers in the greater Siouxland area. "Our first place prize of $2,500 for IMCA Modifieds should help us draw a great field of cars, and I know I am excited to see the battles in the IMCA Stock Cars and Sport Modifieds both paying $1,200 to win" state promoter Adam Adamson.
The format will be exciting as Friday night will see heat races for IMCA Modifieds, Stock Cars, Sport Modifieds, Hobby Stocks and Sport Compacts. With a random draw for heats, it will be interesting to see where the drivers start. After the heat races, the top 10 finishers in their respective heats will lock themselves into Saturdays A-Main. The top 3 in each both sets of heats will receive a cash prize. On Saturday, all cars outside the top 10 will run twin qualifiers lined up by points which will line up the last 14 positions. Thursday April 28th will see an open practice session for all drivers to allow teams to tune their cars for the big event.

Driver entry is available at https://www.myracepass.com/tracks/2303/registrations/5144. A $40 late fee will apply to all late entries after April 26th. In the event of a cancellation, Saturday June 4 will see the makeup of the event.
Tickets for Friday night will be $15 adults, $13 Seniors 65+ and $3 for children 6-16. Tickets for Saturday will be the same. Pit passes are $35 for adults and $15 for children under 12.
